Health services of the population realized by 10 polyclinics, 4 specialized clinics, substation of fast and urgent medical help, 2 children's sanatoria, the city hospital №3 and female consultation, and also other medical institutions.
In the district 10 target complex programs of prophylactic medical examination of the population in priority directions are developed and approved:
- prophylactic medical examination children's, teenage and adult population;
- maintenance of the population with the oncological help;
- early revealing a tuberculosis, a diabetes, a cardiovascular diseases;
- health protection of mother and a child;
- rehabilitation of children-invalids and another.
