On September 7, on City Day Zelenograd residents walked along Central Avenue in a traditional holiday procession. According to preliminary estimates, about three thousand people took part in the action. The procession, as always, was led by a column of bikers.

Following them were representatives of government – the prefect of Zelenograd, Anatoly Smirnov, his deputies, heads of city structures and directions.

The festive procession was attended by employees of scientific, industrial enterprises, housing and communal services, the consumer market, executive authorities, social protection institutions, health care, education, culture and sports.

Separate columns formed the councils and municipalities of all five districts of Zelenograd.

The colorful column entered Central Square, where, with a welcoming speech by the prefect Anatoly Smirnov, the holiday was launched in the 40th Victory Anniversary Park.
