National Research University MIET of Zelenograd and Lodz University of Technology, Poland, won a grant from the European project Erasmus for 2019-2021.

The joint project of the two universities will be an exchange of students and teachers. This project allows MIET students to do a paid three-month internship at the Faculty of Chemistry, Lodz University of Technology, followed by the defence of practice results, and to include the results in final qualifying papers. In spring of 2019, this internship will be done by graduate student of the Institute of Advanced Materials and Technologies Timofey Savchuk and student of MFE-22 group Larisa Sorokina.

Implementation of this project has become possible thanks to close cooperation between the teams of NIU "MIET" PMT Institute and Lodz University of Technology Faculty of Chemistry. During 4 years of cooperation, the team of scientists from both universities have conducted joint research in the field of catalytic systems, carbon nanostructures synthesis, and published 8 papers in high-rank international journals.
