This year, due to restrictive measures, graduations are held on the Internet. To bring their graduation party as close to reality as possible, MIET students decided to spend it in the computer game Minecraft. To do this, the students, being in self-isolation, spent a month and a half recreating the campus of their Alma mater in it.
As always, at first graduates gathered at the square near the University, only this time-virtual.
– Last year, the gathering at the square near the university had to be canceled because of the rain. This time bad weather couldn't stop us, – shared the head of the Department for youth Affairs and public relations of MIET Maria Dobrynina.
Then the graduates were invited to the MIET virtual library. After welcoming and congratulatory words of the rector Vladimir Bespalov, a solemn part in the style of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" was held.
