Zelenograd`s roller-skater returned with medals from world and European Championships

7-th World championship on the version of WIFSA was held from 30 June to 2 July in the Dijon, France. The first championship of Europe on figure skating on roller skates under the auspices of the International Federation of roller sports (CERS and FIRS) took place here.

Athletes from the USA, Belgium, Germany, India, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Mauritius, Russia, Romania, Taiwan, Ukraine, France, Switzerland participated in the competition.

Four figure skaters from Zelenograd became part of the national team of the Russian Federation. They all won medals:

  • Amelia Antonovich won in the category of Silver Chicks (WIFSA), Sofia Kudina won the silver medal;
  • Anastacia Vasina won in the category of Junior Silver (WIFSA);
  • Anastasia Nosova won in the category of Elite Junior (WIFSA), also becoming European Champion on the version of CERS and FIRS.

We wish coach athletes Elena Eismont further success in the development of figure skating on roller skates in Zelenograd, inspiration and victories!", – congratulated the athletes at the Centre of physical education and sport.
